What is Axon?
Axon is Instinct's unified design system—our single source of truth for consistent, accessible, and scalable product experiences across the veterinary workflow. Built on Google's Material UI foundation with custom components and patterns, Axon consolidates what was once a fragmented mix of Tailwind, Material, and one-off components into a cohesive system.
The name "Axon" reflects our system's core purpose: like the neural pathways that transmit signals throughout the body, Axon connects and standardizes how information and interactions flow through all Instinct products.
